The artist of this painting is Kim Wood Nieto from Family Church in Roseville, CA. Here is her description of the painting:
"When I was praying for The River Fresno, I felt like God was showing me a release of joy over the city. The pink in the background represents the joy and the blue represents the Holy Spirit. The River is a group of people that are agents of change for the atmosphere of Fresno. The tree is a Banyan Tree. The unique thing about a Banyan tree is that the tree produces a root system from the trunk as well as from the branches. Every time someone takes a hold of their dreams and sets out on the plans and purposes God has for them, it's like another root being set down in the land. So in essence, wherever we set our foot, we take the land. God is increasing your territory and setting a wider set of roots as The River moves out in what God has called them to do and who he calls them to be in areas of influence: government, education, the arts, business, families, etc... Know who God says you are, pursue your dreams, take the land, release joy!"
